My first trip back to Desaru since 2015. Captain Badol is back and has a new boat. Jith and i drove up for a day of casting and slow pitch jigging. The elements, however had other plans. After a difficult day of fishing, we had a small but sizable haul enough to cure the itch.
We decided to stay over at the newly opened Tiara resort before driving back the next day. The rooms were clean and the grounds were patrolled frequently by the staff. It cost us RM220 for a twin sharing room.
