So after toying around with Isaiah's new Daiwa Ballistic 4000, I decided to reward myself with a new reel too. I decided on the Shimano Aceration 4000, mostly based on my budget. It offered me the most out of the reels i had checked out like the Penn Battle 4000, Shimano Nasci C5000 and The Pflueger Patriach. The guys at fishing buddy were also very helpful in giving advice on choosing the right reel for my needs.
Long story short. I loaded it up with 15lbs Power Pro Slick 8. Will give it a go in Desaru before posting a proper review. Meanwhile here are the specs and some pics. -Jith
